The job: Supply Chain Business Analyst

In this role you will report to the IT Manager, providing day to day support to the Supply Chain function, participating in major projects up to and including leading the project stream for the Supply Chain area. You will assume responsibility for assisting the IT Manager, to prioritize enhancement and project requests with the business teams to ensure the most productive use of the BA resource pool.

What will you do?

  • Support the business in the Supply Chain particularly in Manufacturing and Planning areas.
  • Manage day to day IT issues through the designated ticketing process keeping the relevant business partners informed at all stages.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of the business processes as well as a strong working rapport with business users.
  • Aid in the project management process up to and including leading enhancement/small projects. This would include scope definition, project planning, and project status reporting.
  • Create requirements documents for projects and enhancements through facilitation with key project stakeholders and sponsors
  • Ensure application prototypes align with business requirements and user acceptance.

Who we are looking for:
  • IT BA Qualification to Degree/HND level preferred with related business experience working with E1/SAP or similar ERP systems,
  • Must have considerable knowledge within the Manufacturing and Planning functions,
  • Excellent working knowledge of key business processes,
  • Strong analysis/ problem solving skills required,
  • Ability to lead user workshops, define requirements, write business cases, and design workflow processes.
