Page Personnel are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a well established and well performing services led organisation based in Leeds.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be working in a small, fast paced finance team, responsible for assisting with the production of monthly management accounts and ensuring all finance transactions are processed accurately.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, balance sheet reconciliations, posting accruals and prepayments, preparation and submission of the VAT return, raising sales invoices, processing expenses and maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an assistant accountant looking for a new challenge, or accounts assistant or ledger clerk looking for a step in to an assistant management accountant role.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked in either a relevant assistant accountant, accounts assistant or ledger role previously
- Have strong Excel skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Offer
£20,000 - £23,000 + AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + pension scheme + gym membership contribution + free on site parking (when in the office) + working from home (50/50 home and office when back to normal)
