Financial Data Manager
To lead and develop the financial data management strategy across the organisation and manage the supply of information, implementing analysis and reporting tools which inform and ensure the statutory data reporting requirements.
My Client is a large Public Sector organisation with a historic reputation across the region in supporting its Local Government partners across the West Midlands.
The new position has been created that will be paramount to building and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, identifying, developing and leading on improvements to further strategic aims.
Key responsibilities for the Financial Data Manager includes managing the Data Management team in the proactive management of data, developing and implementing analytically and reporting tools.
You will support in the development of rectification projects engaging with stakeholders on required data outputs, identifying resolutions and leading projects to implement solutions.
The role will including managing a team.
The successful candidate will be degree educated or qualified in Finance and/or project management methodologies. You will have significant experience of working in data/analysis/management role.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly analyse, interpret and present complex information, to enable effective communication which drives action.
You will have experience of making recommendations on strategy based on assessment of risk and performance output.
Be capable of training and developing peers and junior members of the team.
