Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Analyst on an initial 3 month contract. This is due to a large project they are currently working on

Our client is a global brand with offices in Glasgow
Description
The role will entail but won't be exclusive to:
- Reporting into Finance Director (working closely with account team)
- Provide MI and reporting to evidence cost control and profitability across global client projects
- Establish documentation and processes to enable handover to BAU team
Profile
The successful candidate requires as a minimum:
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles
- Professional qualification, eg CIMA, ICAS, ACCA, or qualified by experience
- High level of MS Excel competence - numerical / analytical / work with large data sets
- Commercial acumen and challenge mindset to understand profitability and critically review detail
- Proven stakeholder management including proficient interpersonal and communication skills
- Evidence of cost control implementation
- Construction site / project-based cost control would be desired
Given the nature of the role, flexibility in working patterns will be required to attend late meetings with the geographically dispersed team
