Michael Page have partnered with an industry-leading bespoke supply business based in Castle Donington who partner across a limitless number of industries, including public sector organisations, major retailers and catering groups. We are now searching for a versatile commercial finance professional to join as a Group Management Accountant, taking on 2 direct reports, deputising for the Head of FP&A and driving the management accountancy function of the business as they continue to grow their market share.

Description

• Work to ensure robust financial controls are maintained
• Management Accounting
• KPI reporting and analysis
• Ensure weekly and period end accounts are prepared and communicated in the appropriate format
• Balance sheet reconciliation preparation & review
• Assist wider finance department with compliance and reporting
• Business partner for developmental cost centres
• Provide business partner support to key stakeholders
• Budget and forecasting
• Help build a cost awareness culture through financial commentary to management team
• Continuous improvement to drive efficiency
• Line manage 2 mixed-experience direct reports in the Management Accounts team

Profile

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Accountant
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience working within a similar management accountant or group finance role
• Able to build strong relationships across the business
• Able to present high quality financial information to various levels of stakeholder
• Flexible and enthusiastic character who can contribute effectively to meet robust deadlines

Job Offer

Competitive salary of £45,000 - £52,500 + Benefits
