We're excited to be recruiting for a passionate and driven Senior Capital Accountant to lead our Capital Accounting team within our Finance & Procurement Business Unit. You will use your expertise to influence innovative mechanisms required in developing and enhancing the Financial Management of the organisation. You will play a key part in setting clear standards and expectations ensuring compliance with professional accountancy standards and practices are met consistently and effectively. You will be responsible for overseeing and advising on the Trust's capital programme and, as such, you will be an invaluable asset to this ambitious Trust.

Therefore you will focus on quality, promoting high standards to consistently improve patient outcomes in a financial capacity, whilst using evidence to make improvements and seeking out innovative ways of working to develop financial solutions. It is essential for you to hold a Professional Accountancy qualification (CCAB/CIMA) with current membership registration and be educated to master's degree level or an equivalent professional qualification and possess significant management experience.

Personally, you'll be highly analytical with a structured and methodical approach to problem solving, with the know-how to translate and interpret large amounts of data at pace. Naturally, you'll be a self-motivated individual with the desire to actively develop. Crucially, a natural leader of people you'll be capable of setting a vision, harnessing and nurturing talent and managing performance during a period of change and transition.
