Objectives:
- Lead all day-to-day finance and accounting operations. Ensure that reported results comply with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).
- Establish, implement and maintain financial policies and controls to ensure standardization.
Job Descriptions:
- Provide leadership to finance and accounting team.
- Oversee GL, AP, AR and taxation.
- Ensure appropriate process and system control are in placed and maintained to guarantee the integrity of all transactions.
- Preparing, reviewing, interpreting and collating reports, budgets, accounts and financial statements.
- Ensure the financial statements (such as income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows) are presented in timely basis and a business report must be filed each accounting year.
- Manage treasury and compliance function in accordance with policies and procedures, availability of funds to meet financial commitment.
- Liaise with auditors / tax agents / Company Secretary and other Regulatory Bodies whenever necessary.
- Analyze and feedback any opportunities/issues from existing business.
*Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA etc.
- Minimum 8 years of finance / accounting experience in MNC.
- Good knowledge in accounting practice and IFRS, accounting principles and practices.
- Highly organized and hands-on person with detail oriented personality.
- Ability to see the big picture and provide useful advice to the company.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
