Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- month and end-year process
- accounts payable/receivable
- cash receipts
- general ledger
- payroll and utilities
- budgeting
- cash forecasting
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- fixed asset activity
- debtor/ creditor aging
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Mandarin (Required to communicate with China counterparts)
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): Autocount, Sage UBS, Microsoft Office
- Required Accrediation: CPA, LCCI, ACCA
- Preferably Senior Executive with working knowledge in engineering projects/ project management/ construction related companies
- Independent, positive working attitude and willing to work extended hours when required
