Group Accountant

Looking for a Group Accountant to be based with a listed oil & gas company in Kuala Lumpur.

This is a listed oil & gas company, focusing on upstream oil & gas related activities.

Your new role
As a Group Accountant, you are expected to:

• Handle group consolidation for both active and dormant accounts
• Handle group reporting, Bursa reporting
• Involve in forecasting, budgeting, cash management
• Involve in forex & corporate tax related matters
• Attentive to changes in accounting framework that could impact the current/ future company's finance/accounts and take charge of implementing the necessaries
• Manage and liaise with other departments for corporate account related matters
• Prepare announcement papers and involve in board presentation
• Any ad-hoc task assigned

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Account & Finance with professional certification - ACCA/ CPA/ CIMA/ MIA
• Audit with listed company commercial experience will be an added advantage
• Strong in group consolidation knowledge & accounting framework - MFRS
