Senior Finance Manager within the Operations Team of a Turnaround Fund, Munich, Germany

Our client is a successful and growing turnaround firm investing into SMEs across various sectors in Western Europe. The firm has a significant team of operational professionals that play a pivotal role in achieving maximum value for the portfolio companies throughout the restructuring process. They are now looking to add a (Senior) Manager Finance to their Operations teams, covering a broad range of topics within the wider CFO field. The firm is based in Munich; the position requires significant travel between the fund in Paris and the respective portfolio firms.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• In this position, you will work closely with the Operations team of the PE investor as well as the portfolio firm's senior management, in particular the CFO
• You will be driving the finance transformation at portfolio level, and as part of that, you will be working on enticing assignments incl. working capital improvement projects, finance and accounting process improvements and best practice formulation
• Additionally, you will be leading the post-merger integration and supporting financial and operational turnaround programmes

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong track record of working within the financial advisory / restructuring business of a Big 4 or a specialist consultancy
• Excellent finance skill-set with a strong affinity to numbers
• Outstanding project management skills paired with the ability to quickly grasps diverse business models
• A dynamic team player with a strong hands-on approach and a pragmatic attitude
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage professionally with multiple stakeholders
• Native level German and fluent English are required
