About the Department
Financial Information Management drives the strategic roadmap for the Bank's financial systems and partners with stakeholders and GTO Technology specialists to deliver solutions to support the growth of UOB. The team is also responsible for system administration, covering regulatory reporting, risk-weighted a sset and regulatory capital, financial accounting, financial reporting, performance management, budget and forecast systems.
Job Responsibilities
Required to assist the team in a wide range of UAT and production implementation activities including:
1. Preparation of test scripts.
2. Writing SQLs based on mapping specifications.
3. UAT testing including testing via automation tools like Query Surge & Qlik Sense, writing access & macro programs.
4. Preparation for production deployment.
5. Post production deployment support.
The job scope may include other adhoc initiatives with other FIM teams.
Job Requirements
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, macros, writing SQLs and is not averse to doing systems work are prerequisites. Some accounting knowledge and good communication skills are also preferred as
interaction with vendors and internal/ectrenal customers are required.
Skillset
1. Able to write SQLs.
2. Able to write Macros.
3. Able to build access database.
4. Conversant in Excel (pivot, vlookup, excel calculation functions, etc.)
5. Analytical and able to handle volume data checking via Query Surge, Qlik Sense, etc.
