Group Accountant
This is an excellent opportunity for the correct individual to join one of the worlds most dynamic IT groups. The position has high visibility within the Asia Pacific Region and offers a defined career path. The ideal candidate will be top four trained and have 1-2 years post qualification experience.
Duties to include:
* Assist in completing the monthly Group consolidation, reviewing submissions from Group companies and analysing balance sheet items;
* Prepare monthly management accounts reports for senior group management;
* Perform monthly intercompany reconciliation procedure for balance sheet and income statement items;
* Maintain monthly intercompany loan data, co-ordinate the booking of the journals, review new loans;
* Assist with production of statutory accounts for the regional head office/holding/ and APAC companies;
* Develop good working relationships with regional Finance Directors;
* Keep management informed of accounting technical developments and their impact on financial reporting;
* Work on projects to implement new accounting and system developments and improvements.
To be considered for the psotion you must be a Qualified accountant ACA (preferably big 4 or equivalent) with one to two PQE
Expertise and experience
• Solid accounting background preferably with experience in financial reporting, ideally including Group consolidation
• Preparation of financial accounts and resolution of complex technical accounting issues
• Experience of working with cross-geographical and cross-functional teams
• Prior Hyperiion experience an advantage but not a requirement
