Amazon is looking for an enthusiastic Program Manager to join the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Compliance Assurance team At Amazon, we obsess about the safety of our people and partners - they are our customer. The Compliance Assurance Program Manager will be responsible for the management, aggregation, and analysis of data such as safety compliance data received from the field teams, analytics, data mining, and data visualization. The Program Manager will report to the WHS Program Manager working within the WHS India team and support Global Operations. This individual may also work closely with independent third party vendors, Internal BU and Geo WHS SME's to ensure efficacy of data received. The Program Manager will be key team member in our effort to providing mechanisms/processes to ensure a comprehensive view of the organization's data is established, using that data to drive change, eliminate inefficiencies, and quickly adapt to industry or business needs.

Responsibilities
• Development of processes and data management systems specific to safety compliance
• Safety/compliance data collection, processing, analysis to determine trend, and maintenance of data integrity
• Designing of queries, surveys, compiling of data, and generation of reports in various platforms for leadership and field teams
• Data Visualization- Charting and graphing of data for reporting purposes
• In depth research of defect trends within WHS Compliance Assurance
• Help develop processes to drive accountability and follow up actions
• Publish weekly status reports for leadership teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Safety or equivalent work experience in data analysis/administration, data quality, data governance, or related field.
• 1-2 years' experience as site safety specialist/manager/leader
• 4+ years of industry experience in safety and data analysis
• Ability to drive the data management process by independently defining requirements, scoping projects, and prioritizing tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
• Expertise in Tablaeu
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be fluent (read/write/speak) in English
• You have a proven ability to work towards targets and deadlines
• Demonstrable ability to learn quickly, while closely adhering to new processes and procedures
• Demonstrates consulting skills, with organizational change concepts and strategies
• Able to work independently, at times under minimum levels of supervision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in creating and/or auditing ISO45001, OHSAS18001
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Experience with data visualization and mainstream data analytics tools
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Experience with or knowledge of EHS management tools
• Experience with survey tools, creating surveys and analysis of survey results
• Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
