Currently we are looking for a FA US GAAP Accountant for our Minsk global shared services team to make our team even stronger.

Responsibilities
  • US GAAP bookkeeping of Fixed Assets for a number of EPAM subsidiaries
  • Investigation of correct accounting of irregular, specific operations related to Fixed Assets
  • Communications with local accountants on bookkeeping issues and process improvement on regular conference calls
  • Dealing with audit requests and participating in regular meetings with external and internal auditors
  • Participating in regular improvement process activities with IT development team, active analysis of areas of improvement and testing of new improvements
Requirements
  • Finance / Accounting background
  • Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS concepts and experience in applying them to daily accounting activities (advantage)
  • ACCA / DipIFR (advantage)
  • Minimum 2 years accounting working experience
  • Experience in fixed assets accounting, profound understanding of fixed asset life cycle
  • Working knowledge of 1C (obligatory), SAP (advantage), other ERP systems
  • Good knowledge of written and verbal English (Intermediate level at least)
  • Good MS office skills, especially Excel skills
  • Attentiveness to details

  • Ability to work and make decisions independently
