The Australian National University, one of the world's leading research universities, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, customer serviced focused finance professional to work within the University's Finance and Business Services Division (F&BS). F&BS supports the University's strategic and operational goals through the provision of professional corporate financial management and administration, reporting and effective business services.
Position Overview
The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for providing financial analysis, insight and support to executive and key university stakeholders to enable them and the University to achieve key business and strategic objectives and outcomes. They are a senior member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team within the Finance and Business Services Division.
The position will lead the coordination and preparation of their business units annual budget, quarterly forecasts, business case development and costings, and the monthly financial reporting and support.
A successful candidate in this role will be responsive to relevant University stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues across the University to lead, develop and implement financial processes, strategies and initiatives.
Your relevant tertiary qualifications (CA, CPA) and experience applying contemporary financial management practices and analytical and problem solving skills will be complimented by excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
