About The Role
Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 OR 242 Pitt Street, Sydney 2000
Role Type: 12 Month Fixed Term

As the Senior Manager for Financial Crime, you will be a leader within our AML Team focused on the ongoing enhancement of the AML/CTF Program. You will be a valued point of contact supporting our Financial Crime Advisory (FCA) teams and first line stakeholders in aligning the global requirements to daily practice. This includes:

  • Input/management of Policy/ Requirements / Standards of the AML/CTF Program;
  • Guidance to Divisions/businesses and OPEs as necessary;
  • Working with business on innovative ideas for improved customer outcomes from the Program;
  • Awareness of new/changing laws, industry position, and changing risk environment (and supporting the business to meet same);
  • Being active in relevant industry forums;
  • Providing support in all matters to the AML/CTF Leader including maintaining a strong and cooperative relationship with AUSTRAC.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Thorough understanding of the AML/CTF obligations in AU and internationally
  • Strong AML/CTF regulatory experience & relevant qualifications.
  • Sound understanding of the business and market environment in which ANZ operates its business strategy and the key drivers of success, including understanding of the key drivers of the risk/reward relationship
  • Strong negotiating, influencing and consulting skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate ability to solve problems and balance results focused and good risk outcomes in a fast-changing environment
  • Well-developed relationship building and networking skills
