JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Junior Treasury Officer
DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORTS TO: Treasury Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for coordinating the banking activity of the Group, between Hyuna Barbados and the worldwide Related Entities by keeping the flow of communication to achieve the best utilisation of resources;
* Provides technical support to the Related Entities by providing planning, controlling and follow-up on cash flow requirements;
* Obtain thorough knowledge of our clients business, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the opening of banking accounts
* Collaborate and communicate successfully with others internally and externally
* Collect, analyse and utilise data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the business's clients and relevant Banks
* Develop and promote relationship of cooperation between Teams from Canada, U.S, Europe and Barbados
* Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business clients and relevant Banks
* Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary
* Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
* The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role or with a local bank
* Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills;
* Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships
* Self - motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
