As a Barclays Data & Governance, Assurance, and Reporting Lead, this is a great opportunity for you as someone who has a passion and awareness for Data & Governance. You will be accountable for the creation, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting of the processes and artefacts required to ensure business data domains and projects are established, while operating in a manner which complies with the Group Data Management standards and policies.

What will you be doing?
• Creating and maintaining the required data sources to support effective governance and management
• Being responsible for running the report required to support stakeholders and decision makers
• Supporting the coordination of change management activities including the identification of changes, impact assessment and communication with relevant areas impacted
• Supporting the creation of training material and coordinating user training for Data Governance tools & materials management of the annual attestations
• Supporting the preparation of materials for the regular project, programme, and management forums
• Managing risks/issues and ensuring appropriate escalation in line with Data Governance and reporting
• Working closely with domain experts and chief data office within business units (BUs) as well as specialists within technology and operations functions
• Supporting the data governance and quality assurance activities within Barclays
• Providing project updates and report on progress of data remediation as required
What we're looking for:
• Experience in Governance, Assurance, and/or Project Management
• Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality background and Intermediate MS Office Skills
• Ability in preparing reporting and creating workshop or forum materials
• Ability to influence and build value add relationships with senior stakeholders and peers
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of data technology platforms
• Reference or Master Data background
• Understanding of external regulatory environment and data related regulation
