Now is the best time since pre-pandemic to look for a new role.
Businesses have had almost a full year to streamline their onboarding and everyone is much more used to working in a remote environment. It might even be a better time than 2019, given the flexibility that remote interviewing offers.
There are some great opportunities out there. I know, because I'm working on one.
A perfect role for a fund controller, or fund accountant, looking for more responsibility and more variety. From NAV production, to new deal reviews, projects and even some involvement in investor relations. It's a small team, so you'll be highly visible, whilst your work will be impactful too. You can expect plenty of interesting challenges from day one.
The business is a high performing EM fund, involved in interesting, complicated deals. They can offer plenty of scope for development, as well as a very healthy comp structure. People like working there and they're well looked after.
What background do you need?
Fund accounting, product control, or valuations experience is a must, as well as an accounting qualification. You'll need buy side experience too, whilst exceptional candidates from a fund administration background can also be considered. Mostly it's about attitude. If you are someone that is excited and enthusiastic about working in this space, that's a great start.
Please apply for more information. If you haven't updated your CV recently, that's fine, drop me a message.
