What you'll be doing...
Join us in this insightful role where you'll oversee all Reporting, Month End and Control activities across the Insurance Costs Centre of Excellence including but not limited to:
- The production of standard reporting, monthly management reporting (including Flash) and Management Information packs i.e., including but not limited to Flash, FTE reconciliations and reporting, month end reporting, standard cost reporting, quarterly reporting and scoping new management reporting
- Experts in the cost ledger for I&W and accountability for executing a strong control framework in line with LBG standards
- Operating an efficient month end process, aligned to deliver into I&W Divisional team
- SMEs in the cost management reporting system (TM1), improving the quality of reporting, coordinating forecast submissions and
- Ensure that all SLAs are tracked and met each month
- Continuously evaluate/promote a culture of Process Improvement within the team
Team Management
- Actively lead, develop, and empower colleagues to create a robust and engaged team to achieve objectives and deliver above expectations
- Review and oversight of all team output and deliverables, and timely escalation to appropriate management for issue resolution
- Develops a commercially minded team that can understand customer needs of the Insurance & Wealth Finance Commercial Business Partners and the wider Insurance & Wealth business they support
- Role model the Lloyds values of Putting customers first, making a difference together and Keeping it simple
Stakeholder Management
- Represent the GCM Planning & Analysis Team across all key partners, including but not limited to the I&W Divisional Finance, Costs CoE Reporting & Controls teams, I&W Commercial / Business Partner teams and Group Finance Support teams
- Build and maintain regular contact and strong working relationships with key partners
- Provide insightful information, guide, and advice to influence and aid partner decisions
What we're looking for...
Are you passionate about financial planning and analysis and looking to take your career to the next level? If yes, we value the following
Essential:
- Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other)
- Validated commercial experience with insurance costs and associated technical cost accounting policies, insurance cost systems & processes (at Finance Manager level)
- Leadership experience of management reporting, planning / forecasting, and decision support
- Systems and IT (understanding of using general ledger, strong data manipulation, experience of core trading systems)
- Experience of continuous improvement and/or change projects
Desirable
- Other finance qualification(s) are desirable (i.e., CFA, IMC, ACT)
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
