Day to day duties will include:
  • Assisting in the recording of supplier invoices and credit notes to the company's accounts system for which training will be provided
  • Assisting with the matching of invoices to purchase orders to ensure validity
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Providing support to month end procedures
  • Helping prepare bank payment runs
  • Posting of payments to ledgers
  • Assisting with aspects of monthly Management accounts, to include, where directed the preparation of accruals, provisions and prepayments
  • Assisting with other areas of finance and ad hoc duties as required


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Good IT skills encompassing Microsoft applications, Word, Excel and Access
  • Good attention to detail, organised and good communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems desirable but not essential
  • Proven aptitude and ability with figures
