As an Analyst you will be analysing and driving improvements in ATS Linehaul as we grow our Network and launch new nodes. You will do so by developing queries, macros & tools to analyse the impact of future changes and lane level performance post changes. You will look for inefficiencies/underperformance and compile a data to support business decisions. Your work will directly support Linehaul YOY savings and performance improvement. You will partner with senior Managers, ATS business stakeholders, Business Intelligence and tech teams to address opportunities and develop tools which allow stakeholders monitor performance and measure success.
A successful candidate knows and loves working with business intelligence tools, is comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, and passionately partners with the business to identify strategic opportunities and deliver results. S/he should have an internal drive to answer "why?" questions, excellent analytical abilities, strong technical skills, as well as superior written and verbal communication skills. S/he would be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Fluent in SQL
- Experience of working with data warehouses
- Proficient in MS Excel & VBA, (Macros, Pivot tables)
- Experience with Python scripting (Pandas, Numpy, Boto3) or other programming languages
- Experience of working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight
- Decision Making/ Complex Problem Solving- proactively gathers the right data from appropriate sources, probes/considers all of the facts, considers other perspectives; conducts root cause analysis; refers to long term plans and goals; prioritizes key factors; acts decisively, promptly and confidently; complex analysis
- Generate buy in from all parties to ensure all data is collated in a timely manner.
- Escalate and articulate where the obstacles are in achieving objectives.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Analysis/Data Analysis or related technical field
- Strong inter-personal and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work experience in operations/supply chain/logistics/e-commerce is a plus
- Exposure to Forecasting or planning
- Experience of supply chain management and transportation concepts: forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics, delivery performance.
- Experience with Database management is a plus
