PrideStaff Financial is partnering with our client in Plano as they look for a highly capable, self-motivated Revenue Accountant to join their team.
This role will have a focus on all facets of the accounting calendar including Revenue, Accruals and Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely recording of oil and gas revenue for multiple entities
- Prepare accruals for revenue, expenses and capital
- Prepare and record deposits
- Compile general ledger account balances
- Assist in regulatory filing for production and taxes
- Responsible for processing and paying vendor invoices
- Month-end close and reconciliations, including bank accounts, statements, invoices and journal entries/general ledger
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Perform special projects
Skills
- CPA Candidate or actively pursuing
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of work
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced skills with MS Excel; strong systems experience required
- 1-5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
- Experience in Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables and/or GL Accounting and Analysis.
