LEADER FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS
J.D. Irving, Limited Woodlands Division is currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of Leader of Financial Planning and Analysis located in Saint John, N.B.
As a key resource to the Woodlands Division, the successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, and strong communication skills across various organizational levels.
The Job:
• Integral member of the Woodlands Finance team, playing a key part in the Financial Planning and Analysis of the Forest Products value stream.
• Leading Divisional processes for:
o Long Term Strategic Planning
o Annual Operating and Financial Budgets
o Budget Variance Analysis
o Financial, and Operational Forecasting
o Divisional KPI, and Scorecard Measure Development
• Provides senior management with interpretive and predictive analysis to make business decisions. Identifies, analyzes, and interprets business trends requiring management's attention.
• Works closely with Woodlands Operational Teams, JDI Finance, and other Woodlands Finance employees in the processes above.
• Continue to lead the implementation, and enhancement of enterprise planning software (TM1) for the Division.
Your Qualifications:
• University Business degree with CPA designation completed.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a financial analysis or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability for curiosity and big picture thinking.
• Self-motivator with the ability to work on complex solutions.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to lead change and influence others.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience in TM1 and E1 systems considered to be assets.
