The Business Solutions & Commercial Product Technology team are looking for a highly-skilled Technical Business Analyst with proven people & stakeholder management experience, to join our close knit and dynamic team. We are the Technology innovator in media, driving the transformation of Nine to an integrated media company.
As the successful candidate role you will be able to demonstrate experience performing data analysis,as well as publishing the analysis results concisely to a diverse audience; planning and executing data migration, integrating multiple systems, working collaboratively with business focused analysts and product managers to achieve business goals. You will have confidence discussing complex technical concepts with technical members of the team and at the same time will be able to articulate them in a simple and clear manner to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders at different levels and across different business units (e.g., sales, finance, digital, broadcasting) to gain business knowledge and understand their strategy and goals
- Collect large sets of structured and unstructured data from all different kinds of sources, presenting the results in a way that is relevant to the problem to resolved or subject area being analysed
- Perform data analysis
- Produce reports and dashboards
- Work collaboratively with the Commercial Product and Business Solutions team to deliver the best possible outcome for BAU activities and major projects
- Evaluate, analyse, and communicate business requirements, reengineered business processes and solution designs clearly and concisely
- Support the business in all the steps of the system development cycle, building a trust relationship with ability to influence
- Manage a number of products developed internally ensuring integration to third party systems is fully aligned with the core principles (business and technical) of the product
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with the different stakeholders (internal and external) involved in the process
- Respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations in a proactively and timely manner
- Work collaboratively with other business analysts, system architects and software engineers to break down big projects into deliverable epics/user stories that will evolve from a minimum viable product to a fully developed solution, bringing value to the business as soon as possible while managing the product evolution as it is built

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Information/Business Systems.
- 3+ years Data/Business Analysis experience
- Experience liaising with internal development teams and external vendors to ensure the deliverables meet the requirements
- Exposure to Agile software development projects
- Experience working in large projects as well as BAU activities simultaneously
- Ability to create a strong rapport with all stakeholders
- Exposure to audience measurement panels (Broadcast and Digital)
- Advanced excel skills (including VBA, VB scripting)
- Drill SQL via Beaver or similar
- Talend (or similar ETL tools)
- Advanced SQL
- Postman/APIs
- Tableau
