We are seeking a bookkeeper to join our small friendly recruitment company. Undertaking daily sales and purchase ledger tasks using QuickBooks desktop software. Providing accurate weekly and monthly financial reporting and forecasting. Undertaking bank reconciliation, making payments, and allocating incoming monies. Our ideal team member would have a wide range of financial knowledge, understanding of factoring and trade credit agancie's an advantage, a flexible & adaptable approach to tasks.

What will the role involve?

+ Produce weekly & monthly financial statements (cashflow, profit & loss, balance sheets)
+ Producing financial reports for management meetings
+ Manage quarterly & monthly tax returns, with operating & business taxes
+ Processing payroll
+ Balance & maintain accurate ledgers
+ Maintaining mileage records
+ Invoicing tracking
+ Handling accounts payable & receivable
+ Maintaining budgets and recording expenses
+ Bank reconciliations
+ Processing & allocating payments
+ VAT & CIS returns
+ Liaising with customers to ensure timely payments
+ Assist with general office management/administration as needed

Additional hours may be available by mutual consent in peak season, holiday cover and with the growth of the business.

Experience

+ Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
+ QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
