Commercial Business Partner
A pivotal role sitting in the global sales function providing financial support to drive profitability and support commercial pricing and decision making.
This fast paced, market leading business services organisation based in the heart of Crawley are looking to expand their Commercial Finance team with the appointment of a Commercial Business Partner.
This individual will report into Group Finance but have day to day interaction with the global sales accounts teams.
They will embed themselves in the organisation and play a pivotal in commercial decision making by providing commercial reports, trend analysis, pricing and margin analysis.
No two days will ever be the same in this role. One moment you may be supporting the global sales team with financial insight for a large bid or tender. The next moment you might be researching a potential new market or sector opportunity for the regional sales teams.
Pricing and margin analysis will be a constant part of your role as the aim is that this individual will embed themselves in the global accounts team and be a partner for commercial decision making.
Sales reporting and commercial reporting of varying forms will make up a large part of your days.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with circa 2 years post qualification.
They will have exceptional interpersonal skills and experience of supporting sales teams with commercial decision making.
They may be currently working as an analyst and looking to take the next step. Or they may be a management accountant who is itching to get out into the business and use their analysis and commercial skills.
Strong excel skills is a must for this role, as is the ability to work with large data sets.
Prior experience of pricing and margin analysis is a must.
Ability to get to Crawley 2 days per week (post pandemic) and a want for flexible working is important.
Sector background isn't important but service sector knowledge, or business to business sales environment would be beneficial
Up to £55,000 with a market leading benefits package
