The Company

A key leader in its industry is currently looking to hire a Financial Accountant as the company is expanding its shipping line of business.

The Role


The successful candidate should possess:

  • Chartered Accountant and Degree qualified
  • Shipping industry exposure is a MUST (in commercial sector or Big 4)
  • Good knowledge of IFRS 15 and 16
  • Good communication skills, confident, results-driven

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for financial reporting, reviewing of month-end closing activities (accounts payables, accounts receivables, general ledger etc) completed by Shared Service Hub, monthly reconciliations, tax and audit matters. You will also support in management accounting as well as internal controls and process improvement initiatives.

You will also work closely with Shipping operational team, and support in driving finance projects such as system and process improvement initiatives with the corporate team.

Your Profile

  • Shipping industry exposure is a MUST (in commercial sector or Big 4)
  • Good knowledge of IFRS 15 and 16
