Robert Walters have partnered with a leading international business based in Knutsford as they look strengthen their commercial function for a newly created Finance Business partner. This role will support a number of key areas in providing high quality reporting and accounting services whilst also supporting business planning and strategy

This role will support a number of key areas in providing high quality reporting and accounting services whilst also supporting business planning and strategy
Key responsibilities
Providing the analysis to support business decisions and financial strategy for the Consuming entities, ensuring delivery is to plan and budget, supporting the overall business strategy and cost base objectives
Work with the Business stakeholders to deliver the monthly financials for profit and loss and balance sheet
Working directly with the Cost to understand the GL postings each month and to ensure the month end is done in a timely manner. Completion of balance sheet reconciliations post the month end with commentary.
Provide support to Senior Finance Business Partnerensuring adherence of day to day agenda, strategic and Adhoc assignments providing insights & recommendations across the financials
Provide analysis and metrics driving the cost allocations to allow the business to understand their costs
Support the senior FBP to ensure Finance related Internal audit queries and audit interim reporting are all addressed
The successful candidate will be qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with a proven technical accounting background. This role would suit a first time mover from practice that is looking for a more forward looking accounting role. A strong attention to detail, and ability to develop relationships across a variety of levels is also a must.
