Job Description

Accounts and Audit Semi Senior, North West London Market rate according to experience and qualifications Our client is a well-established firm of accountants based in North West, London. Their services include accounting, auditing, tax, and financial planning, payroll and business consultancy. Our expertise is geared to working with owner-managed businesses, small to medium sized companies, business start-ups, and UK subsidiaries of overseas groups This role will be involved in the following Preparation of statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS 102 and 105)-experience of IFRS will be useful but not essential. Preparation of draft corporation tax computations on the assignments you are involved on. Preparation of management accounts and cash flow forecasts for certain clients and assist our Business Support Unit on occasions Audits under the management of your seniors and managers and with each phase of audit engagements from planning through to conclusion. In this role you will oversee, train and guide junior members of the team. The Role requires you to have Strong communication skills (Written & Oral) Good up to date technical knowledge. Basic tax (direct and indirect tax) knowledge Be Part-Qualified ACA or ACCA Have at least 24 months experience in Accounts and Audit (within practice) Be skilled in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Preferably have experience of CCH accounts production as well as exposure to using Xero, Sage and QuickBooks. Be self-motivated and commercial with ambitions of progression You will be offered study support upon the successful completion of your probationary period.
