Senior VAT Accountant - 6 month FTC - Blue-chip Company - 100% Home / Remote Working - Up to £50,000

Robert Walters are hiring for a Senior VAT Accountant for a international blue-chip business based in England.

This is a 6 month contract role with the potential of being extended.

This is a 100% home working / remote working role - So applicants can be based anywhere in the UK.

The Senior VAT Accountant will support the in-house VAT team on a range of VAT and Indirect Tax issues that affect the company in the EMEA region.

This includes management and review of VAT compliance, work on EC Sales, setting up new VAT registrations, on-going VAT advisory, some VAT and indirect tax project work, making improvements to the VAT compliance processes, and supporting the development of more junior VAT colleagues.

The company are looking for someone with prior UK or International VAT / Indirect Tax experience, gained either from working in practice or from a similar role in industry.

Candidates must be qualified and be able to start the contract at reasonably short notice.

The role comes with a salary of up to £50,000 plus benefits package.
