Key Responsibilities
MoP/TND & PED preparation & Validation:
MoP/TND & PED preparation, HLD, LLD & SLD updation of all new services' to be
MoP/TND & PED preparation, HLD, LLD & SLD updation for changes in existing services' on all Access, Preagg and Core layer PTN/OTN/SDH/CWDM devices in VIL NW as per the scope.
Planning & MoP/TND & PED preparation for providing connectivity & capacity to any new 2G, 3G, 4G & WiFi equipment (like IP BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, BSC, RNC, MME, SGSN, BNG, WiFi AP, WLC etc.) over Access, Preagg and Core layer PTN/OTN/SDH/CWDM devices in VIL NW.
MoP/TND & PED preparation for WAN link Capacity augmentation between existing IP/MPLS router-pair irrespective of connectivity type and architecture.
Complete configuration MoP/TND & PED preparation for new traffic cards (line/Client) on All access, Pre-Agg and Core layer PTN/OTN/SDH/CWDM devices in VIL NW.
Complete MoP preparation & validation for addition and/or replacement of chassis hardware modules like Matrix cards, Line & Client cards for all access, Pre-Agg and Core layer PTN/OTN/SDH/CWDM devices in VIL NW.
Analysis of the QoS & CIR implementation in the existing VIL Optics Network and MoP/TND & PED preparation to comply with the VIL QOS guidelines
MoP/TND & PED preparation & validation for all types of Enterprise Services like WiFi, Femto Cells, Internet Leased Lines, all types of Mobility Services (GSM,
Inventory Management for all Technologies (PTN/OTN/SDH/CWDM) and its deployment plan and Maintaining the data base
MoP/TND & PED preparation for Redesigning of the CWDM Network Links
MoP/TND & PED ,HLD,LLD preparation for MTX Shifting
Planning & MoP preparation for 2G, 3G and 4G site Roll out, Site Shifting, Inter Circle Roaming (ICR) & MORAN (Multi-Operator RAN) services on All Optics devices in VIL NW.
resource have to simulate all VIL suggested feature/inter op issues in VIL lab setup (Lab PoC) before implementing on live NW (Network PoC).
resource will be responsible for on job knowledge transfer to VIL Team members.
Performance Management:
KPI analysis (Daily/Weekly) for all Access Network nodes and Links in-scope devices of VIL NW & support capacity planning
Capacity Planning & Optimization:
Finalizing capacity-planning guidelines in Optics Network to meet the IP/MPLS & PreAggregation network BW requirement.
Support capacity planning as per the audit of multiple KPIs from performance reports.
Analysis of the existing IP network's capacity with the help of multiple Performance Reports from PMS team.
Raise alerts to VIL teams whenever network capacity or specific network KPIs' threshold values (VIL recommended) are exceeded or network capacity is on the
Support in providing capacity growth projections for 3 years based on the performance reports and business projections received from the VIL Business
Provide complete design for capacity growth or network changes to support optimization/expansion.
Proposing capacity requirements in terms of Ethernet ports (in multiples of GE, 10GE & 100GE Client and 10G, 40G, 100G Line ports).
Providing guidelines and detail MoP/TND & PED for Optics network optimization and consolidation (whenever & wherever necessary).
Solution Design:
RE will need to leverage his technical expertise to design solutions for mobility and Enterprise requriements as specified by VIL teams
