Bold is looking for an experienced Accounting Systems Manager to join our growing Finance Team. In this newly created role, you will lead the development, implementation, and administration of Bold's accounting system projects in varied complexities and sizes. We're looking for someone who is a proactive self-starter that will work well with a team and is committed to delivering results through continuous process and system improvement.

What you'll do

• Provide technical expertise in regards to the updating, maintenance, and integrations of financial systems, information storage, and financial reporting tools
• Ensure our systems are aligned with business requirements and priorities
• Review and identify areas for improvement for workflow and data processes
• Manage software implementations and upgrades with Bold's Technology Operations Team to ensure delivery schedules are met, standards are maintained, and integration issues are identified and resolved

What we're looking for

• A work ethic that demonstrates dedication and commitment to Bold's mission and belief in our BUILDERS Code
• Post-secondary degree with a CPA designation
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Previous experience with system implementations and integrating accounting-related activities
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, including the ability to manage and execute multiple complex projects within required timelines
• Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize and identify critical issues
• Strong focus on implementing practices that meet organizational needs and promote efficiency and value creation
• Excellent knowledge of financial reporting requirements
• Passion for all things numbers; you are an analytical thinker who is very detail-oriented with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• An understanding of the tech / ecommerce / SaaS space
• Experience with payroll system conversions
• Experience working with large data sets
