The Sr. Analyst - Business Unit Financial Analysis will be a key member of the Wealth Management Finance team. The partner in this role will support the financial needs of the Global Family and Private Office (GFO) within Wealth Management.

Major Duties

  1. Develop strong relationships with GFO President, Market and Practice Leaders within GFO, and Corporate Finance Partners. Act as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert for financial questions and analysis for GFO.
  2. Participate in the month-end accounting close and reporting processes, preparing analyses of results relative to prior periods and budget with the focus on drivers of financial performance.
  3. Support day-to-day ad hoc reporting and analysis requests including client profitability analysis.
  4. Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for GFO.
  5. Prepare and present presentations outlining financial results & key metrics to Market leaders and other appropriate partners.
  6. Conduct special projects to support business unit and/ or Corporate Finance objectives as requested.

Qualifications

Knowledge/ Skills

  1. 3-6 years of relevant work experience in corporate finance, accounting, or other related financial analyst roles. Relevant degrees in Finance and Accounting preferred.
  2. Broad financial and accounting knowledge with business acumen.
  3. Strong analysis skillset
  4. Keen attention to detail and sense of urgency
  5. Solid oral and written communication/ presentation skills
  6. Highly flexible and adaptable to change. Ability to concurrently manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
  7. Ability to work effectively and build strong relationships across a matrix structure with a diverse finance team as well as business unit partners
  8. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required; Technical aptitude and proficiency with BI tools and financial applications (COGNOS, Hyperion, TM1, etc.) a plus
