Page Personnel is recruiting for a CIMA finalist level Management Accountant for a growing manufacturing business based in Liverpool.

This private equity backed business has 3 manufacturing sites across the UK and has recently received a significant cash injection to help their growth through investment in a world class manufacturing site, technology and innovation, as well as recruiting talent to assist with their development plans.

Description

As Management Accountant, you will report to the Head of Finance and be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management reports including production and presentation of monthly management packs to the board and investors
• Reporting information to relevant stakeholders and tracking any key projects
• Supporting the annual operations budget for the manufacturing sites
• Completing forecasts and budgets and reporting on variances
• Driving cost saving initiatives and identifying opportunities to reduce costs
• Reporting on stock control and carrying out stock checks
• Full responsibility of product and standard costing procedures as well as purchase price variance analysis

Profile

The successful applicant must have the following experience:

• CIMA/ACCA finalist (although part qualified will be considered if they have a keen desire to progress)
• Previous relevant experience within a management accounting role ideally in manufacturing
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working in a data-heavy role is desirable
• The ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously
• ERP knowledge
• Excellent communication skills to be able to build relationships with stakeholders
• Strong presentation skills are required
