Currently, they are hiring a high calibre Associate Finance Director for the needs of their business.
about the job
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will drive improvements the quality of the financial and business analysis in order to guide all leaders in decision making and performance monitoring. You will ensure that appropriate measures are taken to achieve and financial and strategic business objectives. You oversee the management and coordination of all financial reporting activities for the organisation and monitor organisational budget reports financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances and developing improvements. You will lead the budgeting and forecasting process. You will understand and continually reassess business risks and opportunities supporting the business leaders with multiple scenario views and options. You will provide timely reviews and analysis of financial data on business performance, including reporting key metrics such as cash flow, inventory and overall health of the business.
You will develop a risk mitigation plan to foster value- based and an accountability culture in the organisation. You will drive improvements to the organisation's governance, compliance issues and reporting. You will also identify and monitor a suite of measures to reflect operational performance. You will assemble data, analyse processes and systems, identify gaps and improvement areas and propose feasible and quality improvements. You will be responsible of developing a high performing team. You will identify and execute opportunities to drive revenue growth and profitability improvement. You will make sure that the external audit and statutory filing is completed in a timely manner.
skills and experience required
You should ideally possess a degree in finance/accounting and is CPA/ CA qualified. You have at least 10 years of relevant working experience in a MNC environment, You possess a strong track record of leadership and are able to drive communication with various stakeholders of different levels. You possess strong verbal and written communication skills and are able to work effectively across a matrix organisation. You have excellent knowledge of Excel and SAP (IT project accounting module for the Ecc/ HANA version). As you will be managing a team of more than 10HC directly in Singapore and in indirectly in the offshore shared service team, prior experience managing a able team will come as a strong advantage for this position.
