PLC Consultancy - Group Accountant
Your new company
I am currently working to a London based PLC consultancy. Since April 2016 it has acquired over forty companies. With the business continuing to rapidly expand it is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised and skilled Group Accountant to take responsibility for a wide range of finance tasks. Working with key stakeholders you will work closely with the Group Reporting Manager and Group Financial Controller in a wide range of finance tasks for the group.
Your new role
The role will provide commercial exposure in all areas of group accounts, consolidation, statutory accounts and reporting. You will also liaise with banks and auditor while developing relationships with Directors and other stakeholders to provide key reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a high achiever with good academics from a top university. You will be either ACA or CA qualified with some exposure to Group accounting practices. You will have qualified from a top 10 accounting practice. You will be newly qualified and looking to make your first move in industry.

- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Group accounting and consolidation
- Analyse and code expenses incurred by staff
- Preparation of payment runs and head office payments
- Performance reporting and debtor reviews
- Preparing and maintaining group bank mandates
- Review and implementing policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of interim and statutory accounts
- Assist with implementation of consolidation software
- Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
