Job Description

John Crane is looking for a talented General Ledger Accountant to join our company at our Slough Office on a permanent basis. This is a financial support and analysis role within the finance department. The role is mainly focus in helping month-end processes, controls and daily tasks such as intercompany recharges, UK VAT assessment, among others.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of general ledger accounts including month end balance sheet reconciliations, i.e. prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, others.
  • Maintaining bank accounts, preparing payments and reconciling bank transactions
  • Significant involvement with the month end process.
  • Intercompany recharge management.
  • Support in the preparation of budgets, rolling forecasts & estimates.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with financial & business controls required by the Division/Group and external auditors.
  • Support remediation on internal and external audit deficiencies
