VP - Surveillance and Supervision Technologies Senior Business Analyst (Innovation Lab) London

Citi Bank is running strategic Innovation Labs globally, focused on delivering cutting edge solutions to Citi's Capital Markets, Securities Services and Banking lines of businesses.

We are looking for an outstanding individual, who combines business knowledge and technical capabilities to join us as a core member of our technology team. The Senior Business Analyst will lead our outbound communications and represent us in different governance forums. Work closely with our business stake holders, other key functions in the organization, and internally with the Dev team and Project Manager to guide the creation of new Trade Surveillance controls.

Responsibilities

• Transform business requirements into concrete and actionable work items by analyzing trades life cycle, data availability and controls logic and create technical Business Requirement Documents
• Host frequent reoccurring meetings with different stakeholders to facilitate working groups platform
• Provide in-depth analysis and demonstrate critical thinking to navigate through challenges
• Identify challenges, communicate them upwards and propose risk mitigation options before they become problems
• Own outbound communications and represent the team in various different forums
• Capture and track the status for technology book of work items, queries, enhancement requests and issues
• Build rapport and close working relationships with our stakeholders

Experience & Qualifications

• Business Requirements writing and owning backlog / book of work
• Good familiarity with Capital Markets, Secondary Sales & Trading
• Leading projects / teams / products / initiatives end to end with and without authority
• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
• Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
• Experience writing SQL and analyzing and producing data models
• Prior experience working with front office stakeholders (Sales, Traders) or finance/product control teams
