As a Barclays Rates BA PM, you will contribute to leading the efforts on the Rates Markets Growth Initiatives programme which sits within the Macro Change portfolio. You will work in close partnership with Technology and Functions to deliver end to end business outcomes and ensure full business readiness. What will you be doing?
• Managing deliverables within the Rates MGI Programme to ensure on-time, effective delivery of front to back (F2B) outcomes in line with the programme business case
• Following the governance and oversight framework for implementation and working with the Accountable Executives to run the relevant governance fora
• Determining, monitoring and managing the project workforce and financial requirements, liaising with product and service delivery on resource requirements
• Conducting business analysis to supplement the project delivery role and engaging with technical business analysts in other teams to define the problem statements
• Demonstrating systems thinking, exploring the broader scenarios around a change in context, help to find issues early, explore negative scenarios and BCM requirements
• Ensuring that planned outputs deliver the agreed outcomes that remain relevant; course correcting where required to ensure the programme delivers on its aims
• Providing and regularly reviewing an honest, transparent assessment of the project status and RAID of the initiative and escalating via appropriate governance
• Acting in partnership with various stakeholders using their experience and insight to engage senior leaders and maintain the focus on delivery

What we're looking for:
• Experience working in Project / Programme management / Business analysis roles, Middle Office, Business Management, Product or Operations in a Markets setting
• Demonstrable industry experience across Macro and specifically Rates BU
• Passionate, energetic, motivated and resilient attitude
• Ability to master and navigate new subject domains quickly

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Ability to form good relationships and work collaboratively with Front Office and Infrastructure teams, incl. Senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of Macro Products across FX, Rates, EM (Cash, Derivatives)
• Experience of working within an agile technology environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
