Temporary Financial Accountant | Manchester City Centre | £35,000-£40,000 DOE
The is a great opportunity to work with an expanding and busy organisation in Manchester. This role will be focused on providing support an established team.
This fast paced role will include the following duties:
* Managing the purchase ledger to a close.
* Liaising with suppliers.
* Ensuring good cost approval governance is maintained
* Processing purchase invoices
* Preparing monthly calculations and post transactions to the General Ledger system
* Ownership of relationship between operational sub-ledgers and general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of transactions and balances feeding into general ledger and financial accounts.
* Preparation and coordination of monthly review files within prescribed deadlines, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and documented.
The successful candidate for this position will have/be:
* Qualified accountant with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience,.
* Proven ability to process purchase invoices, prepare reporting close journals
* Have excellent IT skills, to include excellent excel skills
* Have strong numeracy skills demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Able to manage and positively deal with high levels of change within the business - working with resilience and managing uncertainty.
