£20,000 - £22,000 + study support (AAT or IMC) + competitive package Robert Walters are pleased to have partnered with a leading investment and client services organisation who are looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join on a permanent basis. This candidate will be working within an established team who focus on delivering regular investment analysis to individuals and families and consolidating their entire net worth.

- Bookkeeping client accounts, managing the data capture process for investment manager and bank statements.
- Take responsibility for data integrity, performing the first reconciliation of bank records vs internal systems.
- Work closely with other investment accountants, to sign off on client records on a daily or monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of wealth reports, performance reports, expenditure analysis and management accounts, depending upon the client.
- General administration on behalf of clients, including cash flow analysis and raising payments.
- Development of processes and procedures to accommodate changing client requirements.
Experience and qualifications:
- Experience working in a back office or bookkeeping function is essential.
- A strong attention to detail and an interest in moving into accounting or investments is important.
- Prior experience with investment software or general ledger accounting would beneficial although not essential.
- Previous experience working within the financial services industry would be beneficial.
- Any prior experience working in a client facing role would be advantageous.
