About the DCCC:
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns - both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members - with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, research support and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC's Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. Regional Deputy Finance Director:
The regional deputy finance director is a member of the DCCC's finance department, which is devoted to raising major donor contributions for the committee from individuals, as well as other entities depending on the region. A successful regional deputy finance director will be organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, and hard-working. The regional deputy finance director will be expected to work closely with the regional finance director to formulate and execute the regional finance plan and fundraising events (virtually or in-person) and meet monthly and per-event goals. The regional deputy finance director will also be responsible for helping to lead the creation of event briefing materials for principals, and develop plans for fundraising opportunities in new markets within the given geographic region.
This position reports to the regional finance director.
The position is based in Washington, D.C., however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the DCCC is currently working remotely.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Helps lead the day to day fundraising operation for the region.
• Oversees regional events.
• Works with Members of Congress as well as the donor community.
• Prepares donor meeting and event materials as necessary.
• Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
• One previous cycle of political fundraising experience is required. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.
• NGP experience is required.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
