Audit innovation and data analytics

• Managing multiple stakeholders including, monitoring and reporting on local and regional activities and reporting against targets
• Deployment of global tools across the Financial Services Assurance practice
• Extract and transform a variety of client financial data for use in our state-of-the-art audit tools dedicated for audit data analytics in consultation with the audit teams
• Using analytical and visualisation software to access, transform, integrate, analyse and visualise client data to help solve real problems and provide real business insights through identification of anomalies and unusual patterns and trends in data
• Manage audit innovation projects and use programming tools/ robotics software to automate manual audit tasks for efficiency and cost savings
• Identify opportunities for further work and areas of interest / added value to clients
• Contribution to certification of new solutions and UAT testing of Global solutions
• Delivery of training both classroom and large-scale webcast
• Helping audit teams and clients to identify and extract required data from complex IT systems
• Self-promote the extraction capabilities of the team to the business and meet market agreed targets for data extraction.
• Leading the local market team to manage and deliver on a portfolio of data extractions
• Work with audit teams to efficiently deliver standard and high-quality data analysis
• Analyse complex data including bespoke analysis

Digital solutions

We work with organisations across industries to develop customised, cost effective technology solutions that focus on delivering the relevant, actionable intelligence that executives need to understand operations and manage critical risks.

• Originate and shape digital opportunities with ourFS clients
• Help develop the go-to-market strategy for key accounts working alongside client teams
• Be able to articulately and passionately present digital concepts to senior stakeholders within PwC as well as with external parties and client.
• Spot opportunities at our clients to help them find solutions or come up with strategies
• Advocate customer challenges and issues within team and inter-departmentally, clearly articulating needs, impact and risks associated using effective communication skills;

Skills and Experience

You will have previously worked for major Professional Services / Consultancy businesses or in the large enterprise leading digital audit initiatives for minimum 4 years. We are looking for people with a mix of Business, Accounting and Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics skills.

• Highly skilled in risk management, project management, and change management with large customers and executive stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to develop data mapping/data lineage documents and design the ETL process to extract data. Experience with any ETL tools like Alteryx
• Demonstrated ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format, and to present findings in a clear and concise manner. Experience with visualization tools preferred, including Spotfire, PowerBI and/or Tableau
• Sound working knowledge of MS SQL Server/ SQL Server Integration Services and/or other database and analytical tools
• Experience managing implementation projects successfully to timelines, milestones and budgets, highly skilled in risk management and change management practices for program needs
• Ability to confidently report on progress, key issues, blockers and success to leadership
• Analytical skills working with financial and non-financial data
• Experience with Python/ R or other programming languages
• Experience of audit and financial accounting processes/systems
• Experience with transactional data (loans, securities, deposits etc.), general ledger reconciliation a plus.
• Experience with AI/RPA
• Experience using data analytics for auditing purposes

Proven ability to build strong relationship across stakeholder groups with the ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the organisation.

• Strong writing and oral communication skills, including presentation & soft skills for communicating with senior management, working in project teams and with clients
