• SMC Finance and Learning Finance manages $30B+ in Commercial and Learning revenue while managing a full P&L and operations across 8 Sales Centers supporting customers from Corporate to Small businesses. The SMC Corporate Business operates within SMC manages $11.5B+ and supports 30k mid-size customers through a Digital Sales Model enabled by Analytics and Business Insights. In supporting this business, we:

The Finance Manager focuses on the below important pillars:
• Analytical support for the Digital Sales SMC Corporate field teams to enable data driven decision making that will drive growth and improved ROI.
• Support key processes across SMC Corporate including segmentation, blueprint and revenue planning.
• Finance business partner for SMC Support Sales and Solution Assessments teams supporting financial needs such as blueprinting, Opex management, ROI & financial analysis orchestration.
• A growth mindset, with a startup approach that drives business impact, and continuously learning.
• Actively contribute and build strong collaboration within diverse and virtual teams with Sales Excellence, EG Finance, CSEO, and WCB business partners.
• Leverage technology and others to be more efficient to deliver insights and recommendations to our customers and business partners.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with Area SMC Controllers to drive and enable SMC Planning and Forecasting processes
• Provide thought leadership on Resourcing / Org to Digital Sales & SMC Leadership teams
• Provide insights & analytics on SMC Corporate, Support Sales and Solution Assessment performance at a Regional/Area level
• Partner closely with Sales Excellence to drive rhythm of business to ensure healthy performance against KPIs and action plans where needed.
• Drive/leverage productivity analysis for optimal Digital Sales resource allocation to drive growth
• Controllership of regional Digital Sales resources, Sales Support & Solution Assessment investments and spend management (DS)
• Drive an ROI mindset and focused insights on all SMC Opex & Investments
• Share best practices with global sales leaders, WCB Business Partners, regional controllers, and finance partners to make better decision making on both WCB and GSMO investments and resources.
• Drive automation in manual business practices wherever possible, including forecasting, segmentation, ROB etc., such as through the use of machine learning.
• Partner with planning and analytics teams to drive standardized approach.
• Be a Champion for Compliance - Tone at the Top, Anticorruption, Sales Deal Execution
• Contribute to the SMC Controller community and foster Field-Corp dialogue.
• Strong analytical skills to build robust financial models to provide scenarios and to help inform decisions.
• Drive automation in manual business practices.
• Deliver ROI analytics to SMC leadership and success metrics.
• Monitor and provide updates of the performance of investment decisions.
• Influence leadership to make decisions with data driven analysis.

Qualifications:
5+ years of active experience in similar role

Experience in Multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles is recommended.

Strong understanding of financial modeling and statistics

BA/BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics, CPA preferred
