The leading global media investment management operation with 400 offices in 81 countries is looking for a Business Analyst to work within a team divided between Applications, Operations and Media Systems functions. The team reports to the National IT Director and works closely with partners in Asia, US and the UK.
THE ROLE
The Business Analyst position is a new role and will be the key to the success of the Data Warehouse project. It is expect that the successful candidate will bring significant experience to this role in the areas of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data modeling and Database design. The Business Analyst will work closely with external consultants during the planning phases and become the primary technology owner of the Data Warehouse solution going forward. Over the long term it is expected that the Business Analyst will play a major role in the integration of numerous other data sources.

Technical Recommendation
- Efficient database design and experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies: Analysis Services, T-SQL, Integration Services and Reporting Services.
- Experience with maintainable, extensible, high performance data warehouse application architectures.
- Data mining capabilities.
- Confident operating within an agile development processes.
- 2+ years Solution Design, Data Warehouse, Modeling and Business Intelligence experience.
- 5+ year's commercial Business Analysis experience.
- Understanding and passion for data quality.
