Your responsibilities will include:

Started in 2014, the ATMS (Advanced Train Management System) product sees safer and more efficient use of freight rail track. The system manages the distance between trains, directing each driver and managing trackside equipment. Working closely with our customer ARTC, future activities on ATMS include wider roll outs across the country and functionality enhancements, all of which require informal and formal testing prior to release.

As the ATMS Business Analyst you will be involved with:
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and interpret these into technical solutions which align with the business objectives;
  • Operating with modern, comprehensive mature processes, tools and systems in an agile DevSecOps environment; and
  • Analysing major upgrades to the system capability for future deployments.
  • Scoping up new system enhancements;
  • Analysing the business requirements and performing design of the technical solution;
  • Resolving technical issues with the customer and system stakeholders;
  • Reviewing test procedures ensuring that they meet the system requirements;
  • Assessment of test results; and
  • Compliance with applicable plans and procedures.


About you:

  • Substantial experience as a Business Analyst working in an agile team environment
  • Well-developed experience in working on the delivery of solutions from customer needs through to Release.
  • Strong ability to voice opinions and trade off option solutions confidently in support of the customer and business needs.
  • Substantial experience engaging with all stakeholders including the customer to understand their business objectives to ensure representation of Functional and non-Functional requirements in the system technical baseline.
