Endeavor Agency () is a commercial real estate and PropTech talent search firm providing high–touch recruitment services throughout major US cities. Endeavor has partnered with a well–capitalized, active commercial real estate private equity firm in recruiting for a corporate finance analyst to join their team. The firm has continued to grow and find great success as they are in the midst of raising a new round of funding and over the past 10 years, have invested in a diversity of assets with an aggregate capitalization of over $15 billion.

The firm is looking for candidates with public accounting backgrounds covering the investment management and commercial real estate sectors. The company is currently seeking a Corporate Finance Accountant to join its Corporate Finance Team. The Corporate Finance team plays a vital role across all managed funds and has close interaction with the firm's management, operating partners, and fund administrator. Responsibilities of the Corporate Finance team are as follows:

Investor Reporting and Valuations Support

  • Act as liaison between fund administrator (accounting team), asset valuation firm, investment team, and portfolio companies to verify accuracy of financial information shared among the parties

Company and Fund–Level Initiatives

  • Roll–up investment–level cash flows into fund models to calculate performance returns, fund composition metrics, investor performance, and the impact of carried interest, fees, and expenses (gross to net returns to the fund and investors)

Managing Fund Capital Flows

  • Oversee the aggregation and forecasts of cash needs from funds and their underlying portfolio investments, and review necessary capital calls and distributions
  • Oversee the accuracy of monthly portfolio investment financial statements, operating reports, and performance metrics

Fund and SEC Compliance

  • Manage compliance reporting aspects of the fund, in coordination with 3rd party fund
  • administrator and compliance experts, including necessary filings with the SEC


The firm is specifically searching for those who have the following skill sets and backgrounds:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MAcc, a plus
  • 0–3 years of prior work experience in real estate accounting (public or private), finance or fund reporting (title based on individual experience level)
  • Expert knowledge of Excel – including the ability to perform (and audit) detailed financial analyses, including financial statement analyses, etc.
