Management Accountant

Location: Crewe, CW1 6EG (5 minute walk from Crewe train station)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 05:00pm

Radius Payment Solutionsare a leading Global Fleet Management Company who offer services in the Fuel, Telematics, Telecoms and Insurance industries. Our wide range of products include Fuel Cards, Vehicle Tracking Devices and Phone Tariffs. We are a successful growing global company with offices across 15 countries.

You will be responsible for one of our recently acquired entities and become heavily involved in business integration of existing and future telematic acquisitions.

Key responsibilities:

• Production of monthly management accounts, including all P&L and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with the Radius Group timetable
• Work closely with senior members of the finance team to integrate acquired telematics entities into the Radius Group and be heavily involved and assume finance responsibility and on-boarding for future telematics acquisitions
• Ownership of the bank reconciliation process, ensuring all bank accounts are reconciled on a timely basis and all reconciling items are kept to a minimum
• Preparation of necessary tax compliance returns
• Ownership of the monthly intercompany reconciliation process, with all group entities for trade, non-trade and cash transactions, including loans and currency revaluations

Reporting directly to the Assistant Financial Controller, the Management Accountant, will be responsible for key management account and business partnering activities for the telematics entities..

Qualifications and specialist training required:

• Part Qualified or Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA accountant
• Educated to degree level

What experience / skills are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years' experience of working in a Finance related role
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Advanced Excel skills - including creating and using Pivot Tables and V-Look Up
• Experience of Sage, NetSuite or similar accounting systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
