Position Summary and Responsibilities
As Financial Controller, you will work as part of the Site Leadership Team, helping shape business strategies that align with growth and profitability, driving accountability across the organisation through rigor, financial discipline, and transparency. You will report to the Division Controller, liaising with the divisional and corporate Finance functions. You will also work with, and support, the various local business unit departments, creating processes, budgets, and analytical tools to make data-driven decisions.

Position Summary and Responsibilities
- Management of the annual budget-setting process and assisting with monthly forecasting,
- Ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial matters for the business unit,
- Management of financial records and accounting packages for the business unit,
- Analysing data monthly to track progress against financial metrics,
- Managing period end corporate reporting process and other ad hoc reporting,
- Liaising with external auditors and supporting the internal audit process,
- Managing, maintaining, and completing balance sheet reconciliations,
- Leading and developing the local finance team, whilst working with the wider Teledyne corporate Finance team,
- Coordinating with other departments; sales, operations, engineering etc. to identify issues, solve problems and create new business improvement processes,

- Professional Accountancy Qualification, (CIMA, ACMA, ACCA, ICAS) or part qualified
Experience and Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years in a senior financial, or financial controller role,
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills,
- Large company reporting experience,
- Experience in USGAAP, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles,
- Ability to work in a team and demonstrate leadership qualities,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Experience in manufacturing and technology sector,
- Knowledge of standard costing and variance analysis,
- Experience in working in a fast-growing company,
- Advanced Excel skills, familiar with data information systems and analytics,
- A proven track record of successful training and development of team members,
- Previous ERP implementation experience would be advantageous.
